Emergencies happen every day. Whether it’s a fire or an individual having a heart attack, the Park City Fire District is prepared to act. However, many emergencies require immediate attention and, in fact, immediate attention can often keep an individual stable until we can get to them. Knowing what to do in the event of personal injury or cardiac arrest can literally save a life.

The PCFD offers approved American Heart Association courses which substitutes as a “class” after which PCFD will schedule you at your convenience for a quick skills check to complete the certification. This will ensure you know what to do in the event of a medical emergency. The AHA offers online course in Heartsaver CPR/AED, Heartsaver First Aid, and BLS Recertification.
